The bulb is great and is now keeping a few of my plants alive in a dark corner. Initially I received a bulb that was partly broken (due to rough handling in the shipping I suspect), and when I raised this with grow gang they immediately sent me a new one. This is my Monstera Compacta (Kunzo) it was received as an unrooted top cutting in September 2025. It was rooted on and left to establish itself under the Pianta grow light. This is its second newest leaf in that time, more fenestration/splits meaning it's happy with the amount of light provided by the lamp. Without it, the plant would have more than likely struggled due to lower winter daylight. Absolutely delighted with the products, I have the clip on lamp holder as well as one adjustable floor lamp and another on the way. Best things ever.
In just a few weeks I have new growth on my weeping fig. It kept dropping its leaves in a north facing room and now it’s happy as Larry without spoiling the look of my room.

This will depend on the type of plant you are growing and on how much natural light your plants are getting. As a rough rule of thumb to effectively mimic the sun's natural light it should be on for 8- 16 hours a day however if there is already a lot of natural light, it can be used for just a few hours a day to top up the light and keep the plant thriving.
Even plants need a good nights sleep! Make sure not to run the light for longer than 16 hours a day so your plants can rest.
How far should LED grow light bulbs be from plants?
The Light should be pointing directly at your plants. Be careful not to keep the light too close as it can burn the plant, between 0.3m - 1m is a good distance to start with, then move as required. Keep an eye on your plants as they will give you feedback.
