Grow Guide - Thyme
How To Start: Sow Sage seeds indoors 8-10 weeks before the last frost. Sow seeds ¼ inches deep in seed-starting formula. Seedlings should appear within 14-21 days. The Sage should be located in areas receiving full sun with light, well-drained soil.
Temperature: 15-20ºC
Light: Aim to give them full sun, meaning at least six hours of direct sunlight on most days.
12 to 14 hours per day are recommended for growing indoors using our Pianta grow light.
Watering & Care: Low maintenance plant, so allow to grow on and prune if needed. Plants need about 1 inch of water per week during the growing season.
Fertiliser: Not needed.
Pests: Aphids and thrips.
Height: 2 to 3 feet
Time Of Growth: Can take up to three years to reach maturity
How To Use: Herb for stews, garnish and salad dressing.
